Whitby Community Education
provides a range of formal and informal educational activities for
people of all ages throughout the area which stretches to Fylingthorpe
in the south, Staithes in the north and out along the Esk Valley
to Westerdale.
Work with adults is undertaken throughout the
area.
- Venues include village halls, primary schools,
the Whitby Coliseum and Whitby Community College.
- We provide opportunities for learning at all levels
up to GCSE and beyond.
- A
list of courses and other opportunities is available from
us at any time. Many courses start in September; others later in the year.
If you are not sure what you are looking for and can’t
find a specific course, please come and talk to us about it. If
we can’t provide it ourselves we may know someone who can.
